F. Engel

As the team lead for the F. Engel project, I'm guiding my team in modernising and expanding this dynamic B2B and B2C e-commerce platform. We successfully took over the project from another company, conducting a full system audit to ensure a smooth transition. My focus was on improving system performance and reliability, which included replacing their commercial identity server with a Microsoft solution and implementing a batching strategy for indexing hundreds of thousands of orders into Elasticsearch. I'm also emphasising team development, fostering problem-solving skills and confidence in processes like deployment and debugging. My goal is to build a robust, well-documented system and an efficient, scalable team, ultimately elevating my career into a technical leadership role within large-scale infrastructure projects.
